We named our brand le phare — French for lighthouse.
Along the coastline, lighthouses may share a familiar silhouette, but look closer and each one has its own stone, light, and character.
That’s how we make our bags. Each piece takes shape in our studio through countless steps, tools, and techniques — guided by hand. Even when two pieces share the same pattern, they are never quite the same, shaped by different leathers, distinctive hardware, and the subtle character that comes with being handmade.
Our Attention to Detail
We source fine leathers from Europe, from timeless neutrals to unexpected colors, along with distinctive materials such as fur and carefully chosen interior fabrics.
From precise machine stitching to hand-stitched details, trapunto, and a variety of other techniques, we layer textures, colors, and craftsmanship to give each piece its own character.
